Park Improvements Coming To Stafford: Council
Several of the township's parks are being improved, the council announced at a recent meeting.
STAFFORD, NJ — As the weather warms up, spending time outside at one of Stafford's parks is a great activity for families. And these parks will only get better. Several township parks will be receiving improvements and new equipment, the Stafford Township Council announced at a recent meeting.
Nautilus Park will be receiving three new general purpose fields, which was previously announced. Read More: Three New Fields Coming To Nautilus Park In Stafford
Also at Nautilus Park, an ADA compliant zip track will be installed within the next month or two, town administrator Matt van der Hayden said.

The playground at Manahawkin Lake will be completely redone as well. The work will begin on Monday and will be done within two to four weeks, van der Hayden said. This playground will also be ADA compliant.
Work on the Stafford Park development continues under the township redevelopers agreement. Once completed, there will be basketball courts, playgrounds and more.
