• Coast Guard Rescues Boater, Dogs In Ocean County (jerseyshoreonline.com) — A recent boating mishap near Barnegat Light ended safely after Coast Guard crews from Station Barnegat Light rescued a passenger and two dogs from a vessel stuck on a jetty. The boat was later pumped out and towed to Holiday Harbor Marina, and authorities reported no injuries from the Barnegat Bay incident.
