OCHD Releases Flu Shot Clinics Schedule (thesandpaper.net) — Barnegat residents can get a flu shot locally when the Ocean County Health Department clinic comes to Heritage Bay Clubhouse on Nov. 4 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The county is running 50 clinics, plus options for homebound residents and the uninsured, and health officials strongly recommend vaccination for children, seniors, and anyone with chronic conditions.
   

2. Barnegat husband charged in wife's death after fight (nj1015.com) — A Barnegat woman who drove buses for the local public schools was found dead in the couple's Windward Drive home, and her husband has been charged with murder after allegedly admitting to killing her following an argument. Investigators say the pair were estranged and in the middle of a divorce, and the husband is being held in Ocean County Jail pending a detention hearing.
   

3. Local Man Charged After Meth Found At Park (jerseyshoreonline.com) — A Barnegat resident faces drug charges after Stafford police say they found suspected methamphetamine and paraphernalia during a late-night check at Manahawkin Lake Park on September 10. The man was arrested, processed at Stafford Township Police Headquarters, and released on a summons pending a future court appearance, and remains presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
   

4. Game 7 Enterprises Shore Conference Girls Soccer Scoreboard: Thursday, September 17 (shoresportsinsider.com) — Barnegat's girls soccer team is on the road today, facing Toms River East at 5 p.m. in Shore Conference tournament pool play. The full slate includes matchups across the Shore, but this game is the one Barnegat fans can attend or follow closely this afternoon.
