Girls' and boys' travel rec basketball teams from as far away as Princeton are in town this weekend for the second annual Shamrock Classic basketball tournament.

Teams of kids in grades 4 through 8 – including many from Barnegat – are competing all weekend long in the tournament, culminating in championship games Sunday.

The event also aims to raise money for two local families in need.
