Shiver me timbers!!! It's almost a month away from Barnegat's annual Pirate's Day. For 20 years, downtown Barnegat has become the place to go for pirate-themed fun. On Saturday, September 7th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., join the thousands of people who come to hang out with pirates, eat fantastic food, listen to live music on two stages, shop at the huge vendor and craft fair and visit the huge farmer's market featuring Jersey Fresh produce.
Put on your tricorn hat and wave the Jolly Roger as you watch the Valhalla's Pirates who will perform 3 half hour shows on the rear stage. You can't miss the David Engle Pirate School put on a swashbucklin' family vaudeville act from 1 p.m. - 2 p.m. Don't forget to put on your peg leg so you can dance to the live music all day long! Music is set to start at 10:00 a.m. on the East Bay Ave stage. Acts set to perform are Jersey Surecats, Chris Fritz, and the Stones Clones.
Arrrghh you ready to have some pirate fun? I will be at The Van Dyk Group booth with some giveaways, hope to see you there!
