Players 60 & up: Sign up for fall ball by Monday

Senior softball league games will be played in September and October

August 10th is the registration deadline for players who want to be in Ocean County’s largest autumn senior softball league. The “slow-pitch” organization is open to county residents age 60 and up.

The Berkeley Fall Senior Premier League will play doubleheaders on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. They will begin on September 8th at Whispering Pines Park in Holiday City and at Veterans Park, next to Central Regional High School.

Each team will play two dozen regular-season games, plus playoff games at the end of October. A $35 per-player fee will cover shirts, umpiring, secondary insurance and softballs.
