Presley in the Pines: A Tribute to Elvis in Waretown

Since 1974, Albert Music Hall has offered a vibrant stage for traditional music in Waretown, New Jersey. Every Saturday night, the hall comes alive with the sound of live Bluegrass, Country, Folk, Americana, Old Timey, and Pinelands music.

Many of the musicians have played Elvis songs over the years, and the audience have always enjoyed them. For that reason, on Saturday, May 4th, the Hall will hold its first ever Elvis Night in a tribute to the King of Rock-n-Roll… Pinelands style!

Five of Albert Music Hall’s regular bands will be playing music from his early hits of the 50’s straight through to his last songs of the 70’s in their own style. They invite you to come dressed in your Elvis best for the chance to win a prize - put on your blue-suede shoes and rock out to the music of The King! Weather permitting, there will be some classic cars on show in the parking lot.

The performers for the evening are: Redbird & Raven, Piney Blues, Basement Musicians, That’s All Right Mama (formed for the occasion from members of Fish and Whistle plus Third Rail's Ruth Ann Knoll on vocals), and James Dalton, each playing a 30 minute set.

The snack booth will be open and offering meatballs, hot dogs, and Italian chicken sausages as well as cakes, pies, soda, water, hot drinks, chips, and more. The gift booth is fully stocked with Albert Music Hall and Pinelands souvenirs including some new items celebrating the Hall’s 50th Anniversary this year. There will be a 50/50 drawing. Parking is free and the venue is wheelchair accessible.

On May 4th, the doors open at 5pm, music 6:30-9PM. Admission is $6.00 for adults/$1.00 for children under 12. The venue is cash only.
