Providence House Domestic Violence Services Seeks Volunteers

We are seeking volunteers in Ocean County to assist with donation solicitation and donation management.

Providence House Domestic Violence Services (PHDVS) of Catholic Charities provides services to survivors of domestic abuse and their children in Ocean County. The program is currently in need of volunteers to assist with donation solicitation and donation management. Activities may include soliciting items from local businesses for our annual major fundraiser, sorting Thanksgiving meal and Holiday donations as well as assistance with Community Affairs.

We also have opportunities for volunteers to work with Domestic Violence Response Teams. These teams of trained volunteers work in conjunction with Ocean County police departments and respond to the police stations to talk to victims immediately following an incident of abuse.

Volunteering is a personally rewarding experience that will enable you to make a real difference in the lives of individuals and families in your community. If you are interested in volunteering or would like more information, contact Erin Shealy, Community Liaison, at 732-350-2120 or email eshealy@cctrenton.org.
