Pub Holds Celebration Of Life Fundraiser For LBI Firefighter

Mickey's Port of Call Pub in Tuckerton will hold the fundraiser throughout Wednesday for Brooke Amsterdam-Hacker.

TUCKERTON, NJ — Mickey's Port of Call Pub is holding a "Celebration of Life Fundraiser" for a former Long Beach Island firefighter throughout this Wednesday.

Brooke Amsterdam-Hacker, 29, died last week. She served the Beach Haven Volunteer Fire Company from 2010-14. The BHVFC said Amsterdam-Hacker "was truly a spark of light on the darkest day."

Mickey's Port of Call Pub's fundraiser runs from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Ten percent of food sales will support Amsterdam-Hacker's family. See the Facebook event.
