Ride In Honor Of Late Manahawkin Motorcyclist This Weekend
Dylan DeStefano died in a motorcycle crash in October. Mud City is hosting a ride in his honor, raising money for a scholarship fund.
MANAHAWKIN, NJ — When Manahawkin's Dylan DeStefano died in October 2022, he was doing what he loved - riding his motorcycle.
This weekend, fellow motorcyclists and drivers of other vehicles are invited to ride in his honor to keep his memory alive.
"My son Dylan was an amazing young man who was loved by so many people," his mother, Miranda DeStefano, told Patch.

The first annual "Ride 4 Dylan" will be held on March 5, what would have been his 20th birthday.
It starts and ends at Mud City Crab House, where Dylan used to work.

It costs $40 to ride, with an additional $5 for passengers. All proceeds raised are going towards the Dylan DeStefano Memorial Scholarship Fund, which will be available to Barnegat High School students.
Check-in starts at 10 a.m. and the ride kicks off at 12 p.m. Email ride4dylan@gmail.com for more information.
