Rose Wegar Frenchman Of Barnegat Dies At 93
Services to be held for registered nurse on Friday and Saturday.

Rose Wegar Frenchman, 93, of Barnegat passed away on June 12, 2015.
Rose was a graduate of the Jersey City Medical Center, where she served as a registered nurse, retiring in 1982. She was instrumental in organizing the first nurse’s union on the East coast, in 1971, and served as their Vice President until her retirement. Rose was an active member of the Manahawkin United Methodist Church.
Predeceased by her husband, John Wegar in 1987,and her husband, Adolph Frenchman in 2007, she is survived by two loving daughters, Judith Wenrich and husband Paul, Jacqueline Nadler; three grandchildren, Susan Schnell and husband Greg, Leigh Ann Roberts and husband J.D., Jon Nadler and wife Melissa; two great grandsons, Ian Schnell and Jackson Nadler.
A visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, with a service to follow at 8:30 p.m. at the Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 W. Bay Ave., Barnegat. Interment will be on Saturday at 11 a.m. in Rosedale Cemetery, Linden. (www.BarnegatFH.com)
