Gas leak reported at a construction site on Route 72 West.

Residents near a ruptured gas line at a construction site on Route 72 West were evacuated by police and fire officials this morning, according to app.com.
Police responded to a report of a gas leak at 9:26 a.m. at 1636 Route 72 West, the construction site for a strip mall, Capt. Thomas Dellane said.
When New Jersey Natural Gas crews arrived, they shut down service to the ruptured 2-inch gas line. Police cleared the scene by 10:15 a.m.
