Stafford Hydrant Flushing May Affect Your Water: Township

MANAHAWKIN, NJ — Fire hydrant flushing Wednesday in Manahawkin could affect your running water, Stafford Township announced. You may experience lower pressure or some discoloration.

If you experience discoloration, run the water until it becomes clear, Stafford Township said.

Stafford Township said at 11:20 a.m. Wednesday that flushing is currently taking place on Bay Avenue. Pressure will be restored and discoloration cleared as soon as flushing ends.
