Stafford Increases Police Presence At Parks: Mayor
Class 1 officers will be patrolling Stafford's parks in an effort to increase security, Mayor Greg Myhre said.
STAFFORD, NJ — Stafford's parks will get increased police monitoring, Mayor Greg Myhre said at a recent council meeting.
A new class 1 program will be introduced within the Stafford Township Police Department to patrol the parks, Myhre said, "essentially park rangers" who will provide additional security.
Myhre said that this security is "much needed."

A workshop will be held on June 30 to supply more information about the officers, and the township and police's efforts to keep Stafford parks safe.
