Stafford Offers Parking Alternatives For Those In Low-lying Areas During Storm
Heron Avenue bridge on Mallard Island, parking lot at township complex and one at Southern Regional High School will be available.
Stafford Township will suspend "No Parking" restrictions at noon on Sunday on the Heron Avenue bridge, which will give Mallard Island residents a place to park their cars, according to the township Facebook page.
Residents can park on both sides of the bridge, until the temporary parking suspension has ended.
Also, beginning at 8 a.m. on Sunday, residents can park their vehicles at the Stafford Municipal Complex at 260 East Bay Avenue in Manahawkin. Please park on the township side, not the police department side.

Residents can also park at the Rock Lot on Cedar Bridge Avenue on the Southern Regional High School campus.
The township will notify residents when the storm is ended and residents can move their vehicles back home.
