Stafford Officials Waiting For FEMA To Approve Alternate Sight For Community Center
The Bay Avenue Community Center will be the replacement for Mill Creek center, which was destroyed by Superstorm Sandy.

Two and a half years after Superstorm Sandy, township officials are still trying to get a new community center built to replace the one decimated by the massive storm.
Stafford is waiting for Federal Emergency Management Agency approval for the Bay Avenue Community Center, the alternate site replacement for the Mill Creek Community Center, which has since been torn down, according to The Sandpaper.
If and when FEMA approves the alternate site and reimburses Stafford for the construction costs, a new Mill Creek Pavilion will be built in Beach Haven West.
