Storms, Tragedies And Mysteries Of the New Jersey Coast

Former dive boat captain and author will discuss his new book at the New Jersey Maritime Museum on Saturday.

Then come to the New Jersey Maritime Museum at 1 p.m. in Beach Haven on Saturday and hear former dive boat Capt. Stephen D. Nagiewicz discuss his new book "Hidden History of Maritime New Jersey." He will be available to sign copies at the museum's gift shop.

Nagiewicz has been diving wrecks off New Jersey and the East Coast for almost 40 years. He is an authority on shipwrecks and scuba diving.He is the former chairman of the board of trustees of the Shark River Institute of Princeton and is co-expedition leader of the R J Walker Shipwreck Mapping Expedition off Atlantic City. He is a licensed USCG master and professional diver with over four thousand dives.
