A Taste Of Barnegat Bay At The Tuckerton Seaport's 24th Annual Baymen's Seafood And Music Festival

Ever shucked a clam? Want to learn how?

Then come to the 24th Annual Baymen's and Seafood and Music Festival to be held at the Tuckerton Seaport on the weekend of June 25 and June 26.

Where else could you take a ride on a bucking mechanical Great White Shark?

The festival is the "Jersey Fresh" ode to seafood. Clams, crabs, scallops and shrimp harvested locally. Hit the brew court and sample some local craft beers.

Gifts and souvenirs will be available form vendors. Crafters, family activities, demonstrations, boat builders and decoy carvers will also be on hand. Make a craft to take home.

Laurita Winery will host two tents with wine sampling and sales. The event has been selected as one of the Best Outdoor Festivals by New Jersey Monthly Magazine and is presented by the Jersey Shore Folklife Center.

Music will be provided by local favorites: Motts Creek Pickers and Lele Party on Saturday and Gary Philips and Lele Party on Sunday.

The Seafood Food Court including the Surf & Turf Truck, Laughing Crab Catering, Zinna’s Mobile Bistro, Chillin Out Ice Cream, The Empanada Guy, and Maddalena’s Cheesecake.

The Juggling Hoffmans will perform from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on both days.

The Tuckerton Seaport & Baymen’s Museum is located at 120 West Main Street in the heart of historic Tuckerton. Event admission includes access to the Seaport’s 40 acres of family fun, featuring maritime activities, historic and recreated buildings, live animals, boardwalk, miniature golf course and exhibits. General Admission: $8 Adults, $6 Seniors, $5 Kids 5-12, Kids under 5 are free. Seaport Members are free.
