Thomas R. 'Bob' Corliss Of Manahawkin Dies At 73
He was a life member of the Waretown Volunteer Fire Company and the Waretown Historical Society

Thomas R. “Bob” Corliss, 73, of Manahawkin passed away on Thursday February 5, 2015.
Bob was born and raised in Waretown before moving to Manahawkin. He was a life member of the Waretown Vol. Fire Co. and also a life member of the Waretown Historical Society with memories of attending the Little Red Schoolhouse. Bob was a past member of the Waretown United Methodist Church. He was employed at Ralph Clayton & Sons in Lakewood for 31 years.
Bob was predeceased by his mother Ruth, father LeRoy and two brothers Vernon, and Larry Corliss. Bob is survived by his wife of 52 years Cheryl Corliss (nee Fitzmaurice), his children; Thomas R. Jr.(Robby) and his wife Karen Corliss of Waretown, Linda and her husband Rich Dugan of Barnegat, Tim and his wife Donna Corliss of Stony Creek, NY and like a son Dave Mueller, grandchildren; Thomas R. Corliss III (Bobby), Kaila and Joey Fastige, Karli Corliss, Richie and Kait Dugan, Danny Dugan, Moses Corliss and Sarah Corliss, brother Bill and his wife Chris Corliss, sisters Claire and her husband Charlie Mundt and Emma Caufield, two cousins Evie Brown and Dot Pharo, he is also survived by many nieces and nephews that he loved dearly, and his two best friends, Alan Exel and Butch Sloan.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Riggs Funeral Home, Forked River. In lieu of flowers contributions should be made to Waretown Historical Society P.O. Box 138, Waretown, NJ 08758, or the Waretown Vol. Fire Co, P.O. Box 517, Waretown in Bob’s memory.
