Tractor-Trailer Catches Fire In Barnegat: Fire Department

A tractor-trailer caught fire Friday morning in Barnegat, according to the fire department. The fire occurred at roughly 4:30 a.m. on Lower Shore Road and was quickly extinguished, according to authorities.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, according to the fire department. Barnegat Volunteer Fire Company Station 11, Ocean County Fire Marshalls and Barnegat First Aid Squad, Inc. responded to the snowy morning incident, according to the fire department.
