No Kids Aboard Bus That Caught Fire On GSP In Lacey: Police
A school bus caught fire on the southbound side of the Garden State Parkway on mile marker 72, officials say.

A school bus caught fire on the Garden State Parkway in Lacey on Friday afternoon, police said. The fire occurred at the 72.2-mile marker on the southbound side, police said.
Only the driver was in the vehicle when it caught fire at about 1:30 p.m., and he did not sustain injuries, police said. The driver noticed smoke and mechanical issues while driving, so he pulled over to the right, police said. The bus caught fire after the driver got out, police said.
Authorities reopened all lanes on the Parkway at 2:30 p.m., police said.
