What's Happening In Southern Ocean County This Week

Schools closed, few meetings, Revolutionary War battle re-enactment.

Schools in the Southern Regional and Stafford Township districts are closed until Jan. 5. The Barnegat school district has an early dismissal time on Dec. 23 and will also reopen on Jan. 5.

SATURDAY - Come and read to Layla the Malamute at 1 p.m. at the Stafford branch of the Ocean County Library. Stop by and read to a non-judgmental, attentive dog listener. For all ages.
