THURSDAY - Martha Washington: First Lady of the United States - Actress Maggie Worsdale becomes Martha Washington as she journeys through the First Lady’s life. Mrs. Washington is considered to be the First Lady of the United States. Lady Washington, as she was known during her lifetime, will speak about other First Ladies. The event runs from 1 pm. to 3 p.m. at the Long Beach Island branch of the Ocean County Library at 217 S. Central Avenue. Sponsored by the Friends of the Island Library.
