2 Police Officers Sworn To Serve Bernards Township
A swearing-in ceremony was held on Tuesday to welcome both officers.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Two officers were sworn in to serve the Bernards Township Police Department on Tuesday.
Officer Michael Bruno comes to Bernards Township after being a Class II officer in the Toms River Police Department and the Sea Girt Police Department.
The Township Committee approved a resolution on Tuesday for Bruno's appointment as full-time Patrol Officer with a start date of March 25 at an annual salary of $55,992.

Officer Aidan McArdle comes to Bernards Township after his graduation from the Atlantic County Police Academy earlier this month.
The Township Committee previously approved a resolution for McArdle's appointment on March 10. McArdle will receive an annual salary of $55,992.

Both Bruno's and McArdle's appointments were to fill two full-time positions that became available due to a vacancy within the department.
"We wish both Officer McArdle and Officer Bruno a safe, happy and fulfilling career at BTPD!" said the Bernards Township Police Department.
Township Administrator Pat Monaco also shared his congratulations to the officers.
"I just want to welcome Officers Bruno and McArdle to Bernards Township," said Monaco.
