$840K To Replace Track At Ridge High School Approved By Board Of Education
The Board of Education also awarded $2.6M in contracts to replace Cedar Hill's roof and replace 14 rooftop HVAC units across the district.
BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Major upgrades are coming as the Board of Education(BOE) approved more than $3 million in projects across the Bernards Township School District.
The projects were unanimously approved at the Jan. 26 BOE meeting.
The Board awarded a contract to ATT Sports, Inc. for $841,665 for the Ridge High School Track Replacement Project. ATT Sports had the lowest bid on the project

Additionally, the Board also went out to bid for the Roof Replacement Project at Cedar Hill Elementary School. They received seven bids.
The Board awarded the contract to the lowest bid submitted by TNT Construction Group, LLC for $2,383,000.

Lastly, the Board approved a Direct Install Project for energy improvements with a total project cost of $340,070.02. This will cover the replacement of 14 rooftop units, said Board member David Shaw, who sits on the Finance Committee.
As part of the program, the school district will receive an incentive of $196,172.91. In return, the district will only need to pay $143,897 for the project.
The track project and roof project, "are both awarded slightly under our budget. So these are a win for us," said Shaw at the meeting.
