An Evening with Rio Clemente

Liberty Corner Church is hosting An Evening with Rio on Saturday, November 14 at 7 pm in Douglas Hall. This intimate, club style concert features world renowned pianist Rio Clemente and his unique blend of Gospel, jazz, and classical music.

Rio Clemente began his career as a student at Julliard School of Music. After several television appearances, Rio advanced to playing at the JVC Jazz Festival, the Newport Jazz Festival, Carnegie Hall and Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln Center. He has entertained audiences in Europe, Bermuda, the Virgin Islands, and Antigua. He has performed at the United Nations and has appeared with the Jefferson Symphony in Golden, CO, with the Livingston (NJ) Symphony and with ensemble groups like the Morris Choral Society and Orchestra.

Rio's awards include Morristown Hall of Fame, Professional Artist of the Year by the Arts Council of the Morris Area, Top 40 New Jerseyans by New Jersey Monthly Magazine, Musician of the Year by New Jersey Jazz Society, and more.

Tickets for An Evening with Rio are $50 in advance or $60 at the door. Proceeds support Malawi Visions, a ministry of Liberty Corner Church which supports the education, feeding, and care for orphan children in Malawi, Africa.
