Doctor attracts chronic pain patients from as far away as Indiana

After seeing the best pain management specialists in the country without finding relief, fibromyalgia and reflex sympathetic dystrophy (RSD) patients from as far away as Indiana and South Carolina are coming to New Jersey for Calmare Pain Therapy Treatment performed by Dr. Michael J. Cooney of Rutherford Allied Medical Group. FDA-cleared Calmare Therapy is offered in fewer than 20 pain treatment facilities in the U.S.

Patients living with chronic pain, which plagues one in three Americans today, are no longer just filling the painkiller prescriptions some doctors hand them. Instead, they are taking charge and finding drug-free pain relief solutions their doctors sometimes claim don’t exist. Laura Miller, a 23-year-old RSD sufferer for five years, says her pain minimized her ability to enjoy life as a wife and teacher. “I had no strength to do anything─parties, going out to dinner with my husband, or hanging out with friends. I only slept and worked,” Miller says.

“A friend was treated in New Jersey with Calmare and had a very positive outcome. With this knowledge, I knew I had to try it.” Twelve 45-minute treatments later, Laura Miller was able to walk barefoot, hug friends and “get back what the pain had taken away from me.” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WPMKYEtVsfQ.

Calmare Therapy is performed through very low doses of electricity transmitted from electrodes through the skin to the pain region which “scrambles” the message of pain from the brain to the nerves. It has successfully treated treatment-resistant pain as a result of injury, diabetic pain, cancer and chemotherapy treatment, RSD, fibromyalgia, radiating pain, back and neck pain, post surgical pain and general neuropathy. The U.S. Military announced it will introduce Calmare to treat wounded soldiers.

Rutherford Allied Medical Group is comprised of board certified physicians, chiropractic specialists and physical therapists who treat pain biophysically, without medication. Calmare Pain Treatment Therapy® is an FDA-cleared, non-invasive scrambler therapy proven to help relieve chronic pain. For more information, call (201) 933-4440 or visit http://calmaretherapynj.com/
