Basking Ridge Dental Care To Buy Back Halloween Candy

All of the candy is donated to troops overseas through Treats for Troops​. Last year Dental Care donated 1,200 pounds of candy to troops.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Dental Care of Basking Ridge will once again buy back your Halloween candy in support of troops overseas.

Dental Care will pay $1 for every pound of candy brought into the office. There is a limit of 10 pounds per family. All of the candy is then donated to troops overseas through Treats for Troops.

Last year Dental Care donated 1,200 pounds of candy to troops and over the past five years they have donated more than 3,500 pounds of candy along with toothbrushes, floss and toothpaste.

The Halloween candy buyback will be held on Nov. 1 from 3 to 6 p.m. Donations will also be accepted through Nov. 4.
