BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Max has been named Pet of the Month by Bernards Township as he is need of a home after his family can no longer care for him.

Max is an 11-month-old, dalmatian boxer mix. He was neutered in November 2019 and received a rabies vaccination and distemper.

"He is nervous of new things and people and could use some self-confidence," according to his petfinder post.

Max currently lives at a home with a 17 and 14 year old, however they can no longer care for him.

He loves to eat, have treats and play as well as go on walks. He could use some basic obedience training and socialization and currently knows sit, lay, and is house trained.
