Basking Ridge Firefighters Need Help To Equip Volunteers

The Liberty Corner Fire Company​ is hosting a campaign to raise money to outfit one firefighter, which can cost upwards of $12,000.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — The Liberty Corner Fire Company is hosting a campaign to raise money to outfit one firefighter, which can cost upwards of $12,000.

The need for funds is also needs to help cover costs associated with replacing equipment ofor existing members periodically as required.

"Every year, rising costs make it difficult to keep our volunteers well equipped. With your help, we can continue to provide free fire and rescue services as we've been doing since 1910," Liberty Corner Fire Company stated.

The all-volunteer fire company is responsible for providing fire and rescue service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to the Liberty Corner section of Bernards Township. That section comprises about 18 square miles (of the 26 square miles in Bernards Township) and more than 6,500 residences and businesses.
