Basking Ridge Local Among 2 Arrested For DWI In Warren
A burglary was also reported to an unlocked vehicle parked in Warren, police reported.

WARREN, NJ — A Basking Ridge local was among two arrested for driving while intoxicated in the borough recently, police report.
On Oct. 20 at 1:37 a.m.: After checking a vehicle parked on the side of Mountain View Road, Rajendra M. Patel, 63, of Basking Ridge was arrested for DWI.
Motor vehicle summonses were issued for driving while intoxicated , failure to maintain lane, unclear plates, careless driving and reckless driving.

Patel was processed and released pending a court appearance. His vehicle was towed from the the scene.

On Oct. 18 at 1:10 p.m.: A Forest Drive resident reported an incident of identity theft. An account was opened in the victim's name in the amount of $4314.99
On Oct. 20 at 7:22 a.m.: A burglary to a motor vehicle was reported on Wilshire Road. Sometime overnight an unlocked vehicle was entered and an unknown amount of loose change was taken.
On Oct. 20 at 5:16 p.m.: Following a motor vehicle stop on Washington Valley Road, Kathleen Postol, 54, of Warren was arrested for DWI. Postol was processed and released pending a court appearance. Her vehicle was towed from the scene. Motor vehicle summonses were issued for driving while intoxicated, careless driving, reckless driving, suspended license, consuming alcohol in a vehicle, and open container of alcohol in a vehicle.
