Basking Ridge Middle School Destination Imagination Team places top 10 at Destination Imagination Global Finals 2016

Destination Imagination Competition.

Basking Ridge's very own "Baked with Love" Destination Imagination team members Ana Hodges, Anjali Ramnauth, Olivia Gaibor, Laasya Gadiyaram, Jabeen Sheikh and Aanya Patel enjoyed first place at NJ State Competition for a second year in a row and placed top 10 at Destination Imagination Global Finals for a second year in a row. The team competed against teams from other states and countries, including China, Turkey, Mexico, Qatar and Canada.

The "Baked with Love" team held a Bake Sale and Bake Off at Bishop Janes United Methodist Church to raise funds in support of the Somerset County Food Bank Lunch Backpack Program. The team presented their results via a theatrical performance, creating props made out of recyclable materials and writing their own lyrics to songs.

Much more to come from the "Baked with Love" team of highly motivated and truly caring young ladies.

The team performed well at Global Finals and learned a great deal about their skills and strengths. Be on the look out for this "spoonful" of amazingly creative kids.
