Basking Ridge National Night Out 2018

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — The Bernards Township Police Department will host the township's National Night Out Tuesday, Aug. 7 at 6:30 p.m. at Astor Fields, Town Hall.

National Night Out is an initiative in which people in towns across the country gather at their homes, on their streets, and at their local community centers in recognition of their support of the community. It helps strengthen the partnership between the community and police.

The event will feature demos and vehicles by the Basking Ridge Fire Co. #1 and Emergency Medical Services, Somerset County SWAT and K-9 Unit, New Jersey State Police, Liberty Corner Fire Co. and First Aid Squad, Animal Control Municipal Alliance and Bernards Township Police.

There will also be sweet treats for sale, free face painting and Disney's Coco (PG) will be playing at 8:30 p.m.
