Basking Ridge Police Warn Of Scam Calls Asking For Donations

A man identifying himself as "Frank Davis from the Police Department" has been calling township business and locals asking for donations.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Police is warning residents about scam calls that have been made to Bernards Township residents asking for donations.

"Bernards Twp PBA #357 will NEVER solicit donations over the phone," police said.

Businesses and residents reported getting calls last week from a man identifying himself as “Frank Davis from the Police Department."

This is a scam.
