Basking Ridge Residents Warned Of Scam Phone Calls

Scam Alert: The callers are pretending to be members of area fire departments looking for donations.​

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — The Liberty Corner Fire Company is warning residents of a scam. Someone has been calling residents and identifying themselves as members of area fire departments looking for donations.

"WE DO NOT SOLICIT DONATIONS VIA PHONE CALLS. DO NOT DONATE TO THESE SCAMS," Liberty Corner Fire Company announced.

All donations are done through Liberty Corner Fire Company's website here, their official Facebook page, and through US Postal Mail to be returned to their PO Box 98, Liberty Corner.
