Basking Ridge: Somerset County's 'Making Vibrant Connections' With New Signs
Residents who cross over from neighboring areas will notice that the county has installed new "Welcome to Somerset County" signs.

Now that New Jersey is well into Phase 2 of its COVID-19 Restart & Recovery plans, more and more people are venturing out to enjoy the summer weather. During their travels, visitors and residents who cross over from neighboring areas will notice that the county has installed new “Welcome to Somerset County” signs.

For decades, the county’s welcome signs displayed a hot air balloon, but no more. The new signs show off the Somerset County’s logo, with the “Making Vibrant Connections” tagline, to great advantage.

The “Welcome to Somerset County” signs were designed by the county’s Graphics Department with assistance from the Engineering Division, manufactured by Garden State Highway Products, Inc., and installed on county roads by Department of Public Works employees.
