Bears Roam Campus of Somerset County High School Wednesday
School put on lockdown for most of day; students escorted to cars, reports say.

A Somerset County high school was put on lockdown Wednesday after a pair of bears was seen roaming the campus.
The bears were on the south side of Watchung Hills High School, which lead to all students being held inside the building, nj.com reported.
Students who needed to leave early for the day were escorted to their vehicles, mycentraljersey.com reported.

Anthony Raphael, a student at the high school, snapped a photo of one of the bears and posted it to his Twitter account.
The bears’ location was monitored until they were a “safe distance” away from the building, nj.com reported. The bears were first spotted around 10 a.m., mycentraljersey.com reported.
