Bernards Township Democratic Committee Call For Candidates

"With the election of Anna Duarte McCarthy in 2023, it is clear that Bernards residents want diversity of thought in their local government"

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — The Bernards Township Democratic Committee(BTDC) is looking for Democratic residents interested in serving on the Township Committee.

"The momentum is there. We now have a brilliant new member on the Township Committee in Ana Duarte McCarthy, and we are poised to continue our trajectory towards open, inclusive, and thoughtful governance in our town. We urge like-minded, smart, and caring people to throw their hat into the ring. You will be joined by a team of volunteers who will support you across the finish line and ultimately serve on behalf of our town," said BTDC Chair Jane Conklin.

The Bernards Township Democratic Committee, reestablished in 2017, remains committed to
identifying and supporting candidates with vision, who will lead with integrity, compassion, and
intelligence.
