BASKING RIDGE, NJ — It's a wrap: The results are in for the 2023 race for the Bernards Township Committee.

The Somerset County Clerk's Office confirmed Wednesday that the election results from Nov. 7 have been certified.

In Basking Ridge, there were four candidates running for two open seats on the Township Committee. Ana Duarte McCarthy and incumbent Gary Baumann emerged victorious over Puiwan Lily Wong and Tyler Seville.

Here are the final, certified results as per the Somerset County Clerk's Office:

  • McCarthy- 4,034 votes (25.20%)
  • Baumann- 4,000 votes (24.99%)
  • Wong - 3,993 votes (24.94%)
  • Seville - 3,963 votes (24.75%)
