Bernards Twp. Police Lt. Retires After 25 Years
After 25 years of service, Bernards Township bid farewell to Lieutenant Stephen Elder as he retired from the police force.
Bernards Township, NJ - After 25 years of service, Bernards Township bid farewell to Lieutenant Stephen Elder as he retired from the police force.
Elder retired on July 12, he was also a member of the Somerset County SWAT team.
Retired Southaven, Mississippi Police Chief William "Tom" Long surprised Elder with a visit. Captain Brian Hoey of the Somerset County Prosecutors Office also played the bagpipes that morning.
