The staff at Lord Stirling Stable will present “Meet the Ponies,” a program designed for horse enthusiasts age 7 to 9 years. The session is scheduled for Saturday, May 14, 2016 from 3:30 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. at the Stable located at 256 South Maple Avenue in Basking Ridge, New Jersey.
The program is ideal for individual nonriders and riders, scout troops and other youth groups.
Participants will experience hands-on interaction with ponies. Under the guidance of experienced Lord Stirling Stable staff, students will be able to groom a pony, learn about what ponies eat, and the work involved in taking care of a pony. Participants will also make a horse-related craft and take part in a pony ride.
