Construction Planned Wednesday In Basking Ridge

Here is the latest update on road work planned in Basking Ridge for Wednesday.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Road construction work continues on Wednesday on multiple Basking Ridge streets. Here is the latest update:

Starting on Wednesday, Full Depth Reclamation will begin on the second section of Byron Drive and Dryden Road. Dryden Road will be closed from #38 to the cul-de-sac from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Absolutely no vehicular traffic will be allowed on this section of roadway during these hours, with the exception of emergency vehicles if necessary. All on-street parking is prohibited in this section, and residents should make alternate parking arrangements on the section of Dryden Road that is not being reclaimed or on Byron Drive.

Byron Drive will be open to vehicular traffic and for resident parking on Wednesday. Until construction is completed the roadway may have loose gravel, so drivers are asked to use caution while driving.

Work on driveway aprons will continue on Dryden Road on Wednesday as well. Crews will be constructing new asphalt driveway aprons at all homes. Access will be maintained but short interruptions may occur for all residents.

Construction work on the 2018 Road Improvements project will also continue on Wednesday. Crews will continue working on construction of new granite block curb and sidewalk on Brook Ridge Drive, and Washington Avenue.

On street parking is prohibited within the work areas. No road closures will occur. Driveway access will be restricted for residents at #6 Brook Ridge Drive, drivers should make alternate parking arrangements. On street parking is prohibited within the work areas.
