• Bernards Township To Hold Annual 9/11 Ceremony (patch.com) — Residents in Basking Ridge are invited to gather at Harry Dunham Park on Sept. 11 at 6 p.m. for the township's annual remembrance ceremony marking 25 years since the 9/11 attacks. The program will honor nearly 3,000 victims, including 18 from Basking Ridge, and shares personal remembrances of each local resident lost, underscoring the community's ongoing commitment to remember their lives and families.
   

• 280-Unit Mountain View Development Shares Updated Plan In Basking Ridge (patch.com) — A major 280-unit Mountain View housing project in Basking Ridge is back before the Bernards Township Planning Board with design changes but no increase in units or affordable housing. Experts detailed revised apartment layouts, added balconies, EV parking and lighting, while a nearby resident secured a commitment for new fencing, with the hearing continued to Sept. 8.
