"We look forward to continuing the trend of electing level-minded, forward-thinking, and professional leaders to office," said Nancy D’Andrea, BTDC chair. "Dr. Chadda is intelligent, pragmatic, highly qualified, and easy to work with. She collaborates, and is approachable. She is the kind of leader Bernards Township needs, and is consistent with the leadership this town elected last year."

"As a local business owner, practicing dentist, and parent of students in elementary school, high school, and college, I have a broad perspective," Chadda said. "With my STEM background, I employ a fact-and evidence-based approach to solving problems and making decisions. I want to foster greater communication between elected officials and residents of our town and facilitate the participation of more of my fellow residents in our civic affairs. I would be honored to serve my township neighbors and work to improve our future together."

Chadda has been practicing as a board-certified periodontist for 19 years. In 2004, Chadda established a dental practice on Stonehouse Road in Basking Ridge. A graduate of Barnard College and SUNY Buffalo Dental School, she completed her periodontal residency at Rutgers Dental School (formerly UMDNJ) and conducted research on the link between cardiovascular disease and dental disease.
