Entries Sought for Senior Art Exhibit
Calling all artists age 60 and above! The deadline to register for a Juried Senior Art Exhibit is July 18.

SOMERVILLE – Calling all artists age 60 and above! If you are a resident of Somerset County, Freeholder Patrick Scaglione, Cultural & Heritage Commission liaison, invites you to submit one original creation for a Juried Senior Art Exhibit, which will be held in the Somerset County Cultural & Heritage Gallery, located in the county Administration Building at 20 Grove St., from Aug. 9 to Sept. 16.
Completed registration must be received by Monday, July 18. All submissions must be the original work of the applicant, created within the last three years, and not previously entered in the Somerset County Senior Art Show. Categories include watercolors, oils, acrylics, digital/computer art, photography, pastels, drawings, mixed media, sculpture and printmaking.

An awards ceremony will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 13. First place winners in both the professional and nonprofessional categories will have their work displayed at the New Jersey State Senior Art Show, which will be held Sept. 22-Oct. 27 at Meadow Lakes Senior Living in East Windsor.
