Forest Fire Burning Scheduled In Basking Ridge Tuesday
The primary purpose of prescribed burning in New Jersey is to reduce the hazardous accumulations of forest fuels.
BASKING RIDGE, NJ - The New Jersey Fire Service will hold a forest fire prescribed burning on Tuesday in Basking Ridge, NJ Department of Environmental Protection announced.
The burning will take place at the Lord Sterling Environmental Center in Bernards Township.
Prescribed burnings are also scheduled in parts of Morris, Cumberland and Ocean counties.
