Grand Outdoor Menorah Lighting Is Wednesday In Basking Ridge

The Basking Ridge Fire Company will also drop gelt (gold chocolate coins) from atop their ladder down onto the crowd.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — A Grand Outdoor Menorah Lighting will be held in Basking Ridge on Wednesday, Dec. 21.

The event, hosted by the Chabad of Greater Somerset County and the Basking Ridge Business Alliance, will also feature the Chanukah gelt drop with the help of the Basking Ridge Fire Company.

The Fire Company will bring a fire truck and drop gelt (gold chocolate coins) from atop a ladder down onto the crowd.

Additonally, there will be a fire juggler show, donut decorating, hot cocoa bar, games, crafts, and free Chanukah swag.

The event is held at the Chabad Jewish Center at 3048 Valley Road in Basking Ridge at 5:30 p.m.
