Greysen Is Basking Ridge's Pet Of The Week

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Meet Greysen! He has been chosen as Basking Ridge Patch's Pet Of The Week.

"Greysen's an 11-year-old American Warm Blood, and I’ve owned and trained him (with a lot of help from my trainer!) for four years. I’m an amateur dressage rider, currently schooling and showing at Second Level.

He is a super boy, with lots of love to give; he’s also very forgiving of my many mistakes! In his spare time, he loves to eat carrots and roll around in the mud. For the picture, he’d just had a bath, so no mud for us today!"

Participating in the Pet of the Week happenings is simple: submit your nomination by emailing alexis.tarrazi@patch.com with subject line "Basking Ridge Pet Of The Week." Be sure to include a photograph or two of your pet, a paragraph about what makes him or her so great, and the town you're from.

You can choose to include your name, but you don't need to. Then just keep an eye out for a photo of your pet on the Patch!

The photo can be of a present pet, or it can be a baby picture of the adult pet you're so proud of today.
