Home, Car Burglarized In Basking Ridge
Bernards Township Police also reported making 3 arrests for driving while intoxicated and theft recently.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — One home and one car were reportedly burglarized recently in the township, according to the police blotter.
On Dec. 8 between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.: A vehicle was burglarized at the YMCA. The suspect forced entry by breaking a window and stealing a wallet. Anyone with information should contact Det.Brian Fallon at 908-204-3045.
On Dec. 22 between 3:30 and 10:30 p.m.: A home on Sentinel Drive was burglarized. It is unknown at this time what was taken. Anyone with information should contact Det. John Neiman at 908-204-3050.

Other Bernards Township Police blotter items:
On Dec. 17 at 10:29 p.m.: Thomas Cavanaugh, 45, of Califon was stopped by Officer Zolnierowski for speeding. During the stop it was determined that he was impaired and he was arrested for DWI. He was charged with DWI, speeding, and refusing to submit to a breath test. He was released pending a court appearance.

On Dec. 22 at 10:37 p.m.: Elizabeth Roberts, 54, of Bridgewater was stopped by Officer Moore on Liberty Corner Road. During the stop, it was determined that Roberts was impaired. She was charged with DWI and failing to submit to a breath test. She was released pending a court appearance.
