Golf serves the single largest recreation constituency in Somerset County and the Park Commission annually gives residents what they ask for...great golf at a reasonable price. The five county golf courses easily accommodate in excess of 175,000 rounds of golf each year.
Neshanic Valley at 2301 South Branch Road in Neshanic Station is the Park Commission flagship facility, attracting both local golfers and players from out of state who have discovered the championship caliber layout at very reasonable rates. The 27-hole layout, the 9-hole Academy Course, the Learning Center, and the recently renovated Callaway Golf Performance Center provide golfers with a complete play and practice experience.
For rainy days, the Hi-Def Simulator allows golfers to enjoy playing any one of 26 courses from around the world. The state-of-the-art club fitting and swing analysis system operated by Callaway-trained professionals accepts appointments by calling 908-369-8232.
